The LLC class uses a current control mode for excellent stability and fast response. According to different load conditions, three different operation modes can be implemented: steady state mode, frequency hopping mode and burst mode. With this method, the efficiency under different load conditions can be optimized respectively. Under light load, digital burst mode controlled by frequency is adopted to reduce switching power loss and audio noise.

In addition, adaptive dead time regulation (ADTA) and capacitive mode protection (CMP) are used to ensure zero voltage switching (ZVS) without capacitive mode. HR1211 can be powered on with an internal high-voltage current source, so there is no need to use traditional power on resistors or external circuits. When the AC signal is lost, the high voltage (HV) current source can act as an X capacitive discharger, so there is no need to use a capacitive resistor. Multiple protections are provided, including over temperature shutdown protection (TSD), PFC open-loop protection (OLP), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current limit (OCL) and LLC over-current protection (OCP), SO pin protection and over-power protection (OPP).
