Acroview Programmer Supports BES’s Ultra-Low Power Bluetooth Audio SoC BES2710IHC-4X

Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has announced an expansion of its compatible chip model list with the latest release of its programming software. The newly added model includes BES’s ultra-low power Bluetooth audio SoC, the BES2710IHC-4X, which is now supported by Acroview’s universal programming platform, the AP8000 universal programmer.

The BES2710IHC-4X is an ultra-low power Bluetooth audio system-on-chip (SoC). The chip platform integrates a CPU subsystem that includes a dual-core STAR-MC1 processor, along with a dual-core BES proprietary coprocessor (BECO) for advanced signal processing and neural network (NN) workloads. It also integrates RAM/ROM, serial flash for software functionality and product customization, and multiple interfaces. This highly integrated design minimizes external components, reduces BOM costs, and delivers a cost-effective Bluetooth audio solution.

Additionally, the BES2710IHC-4X integrates a dual-mode Bluetooth 5.4 subsystem, a codec subsystem, and a power management unit (PMU) with a built-in charger. Its highly integrated design is further enhanced by IBRT technology (BES’s proprietary sniff technology), which incorporates forward error correction (FEC) to improve RF performance in true wireless stereo (TWS) systems.

The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity options, including both USB and NET interfaces, allowing easy networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers and efficiently carry out parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit incorporates an intelligent safety protection circuit that monitors chip placement and circuit connection status in real time. In case of abnormalities such as reversed chip insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, ensuring the safety of both the chip and the programmer. The main unit is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency for smooth and efficient programming. To enhance convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the back of the main unit. Users can simply save project files generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then use the programmer’s physical buttons to select, load, and execute programming operations, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design reduces dependency on computer hardware, simplifies the workspace setup, and greatly improves operational flexibility.

In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of base board and adapter boards, effectively expanding the main unit’s functionality. The device currently supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering brands such as QUECTEL, BEKEN, elmos, Nation, and HiTrendtech. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, and eMMC, and is fully compatible with various industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
