Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has officially expanded its compatible device coverage with the release of its latest programming software. The company’s core product—the universal programming platform AP8000—now fully supports MPS’s 15A eFuse chip MP5088GGU.
The MP5088GGU is an eFuse that supports 15A continuous current, with an input voltage (VIN) range of 2.7V to 5.5V. This device integrates inrush current control and current monitoring functions in an extremely small package, featuring a low on-resistance (RDS(ON)) of 2mΩ, enabling high-efficiency and space-saving solutions.
The MP5088GGU offers high-precision current monitoring and configurable current limiting. Its soft-start (SS) function effectively prevents inrush current during circuit startup. In addition, it provides configurable soft-start time (tSS), output discharge function, over-current protection (OCP), and over-temperature shutdown protection.
The MP5088GGU is available in a UTQFN-12 (2×2mm) package.

The AP8000 universal programmer, independently developed by Acroview, has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. It supports flexible configurations from single-site to eight-site parallel programming, and offers both online and offline operating modes. Dedicated programming solutions for eMMC, UFS, and other memory chips are also available, fully covering the programming needs of MPS’s entire chip portfolio—both bare-chip offline and on-board programming. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design consisting of three core modules: mainframe, baseboard, and adapter sockets, giving the device outstanding compatibility and scalability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market but also serves as the core component of Acroview’s automated batch programming system IPS5800S, delivering stable and high‑efficiency performance for high‑volume production programming tasks.

The AP8000 mainframe offers flexible connectivity with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the mainframe incorporates intelligent safety protection circuits that monitor chip placement status and circuit connections in real time. Once abnormalities such as reversed chip insertion or short circuits are detected, the system triggers an immediate power-off protection mechanism, safeguarding both the chip and the programmer. The mainframe is equipped with a high‑speed FPGA chip that greatly enhances data transmission and processing efficiency, ensuring smooth and efficient programming. For added convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the rear panel. Users can store project files generated on a PC onto an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then select, load, and execute programming operations via physical buttons on the programmer—enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware but also simplifies workspace setup, significantly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively extending the mainframe’s functionality. Currently, the device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, Kingston, and many others. Its supported device types cover a wide range, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, and it is fully compatible with industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one‑stop, full‑scenario chip programming solution.
