Acroview AP8000 universal device programmer to support programming ISSI Semiconductor's serial

The Global Leader of Semiconductor - Acroview Technology recently released the latest chip programming machine software update and a list of newly supported chip models. Among them, ISSI Semiconductor's serial flash memory IS25LP01G has been supported by Acroview's general programming platform AP8000.

The IS25LP01G Serial Flash offers a versatile memory solution with high flexibility and high performance in a simplified pin count package. ISSI's "Industry Standard Serial Interface" flash memory is suitable for systems requiring limited space, low pin count, and low power consumption. The device is accessed through a 4-wire SPI interface consisting of Serial Data In (SI), Serial Data Out (SO), Serial Clock (SCK), and Chip Enable (CE#) pins, which can also be configured as For multiple input/output.


The device supports dual and quad input/output as well as standard, dual and quad output SPI. A clock frequency of up to 133MHz allows an equivalent clock rate of up to 532MHz (133MHz x 4), which equates to a data throughput of 66.5Mbytes/s. The IS25LP01G flash memory adds support for the DTR (Double Transfer Rate) command, which transfers addresses and reads data on both edges of the clock. These transfer rates can outperform 16-bit parallel flash, allowing efficient memory access to support XIP (execute-in-place) operations.


When shipped from the factory, the initial state of the memory array is erased (all bits set to 1).

QPI (Quad Peripheral Interface) supports 2-cycle instructions to further reduce instruction time. Pages can be erased in groups of 4KB sectors, 32KB blocks, 64K/256KB blocks, and/or entire chips. The unified sector and block architecture allows a high degree of flexibility so the device can be used in a variety of applications requiring reliable data retention.

Embedded high-speed FPGA greatly accelerates data transmission and processing. There is an SD card slot on the back of the main unit. Put the project file produced by the PC software into the root directory of the SD card and insert it into the card slot. The project file can be selected, loaded, and burned through the buttons on the programmer. command, in order to achieve the purpose of operating without PC, which greatly reduces the cost of PC hardware configuration, and can be conveniently and quickly matched with the working environment.


AP8000 makes the mainframe more expandable by adding an adapter board to the backplane.
