Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has announced the expansion of its compatible device coverage alongside the release of its latest programming software. Its core product, the universal programming platform AP8000, has now achieved full adaptation with MPS’s synchronous step-down switching regulator MPQ4385AGQJTE.
The MPQ4385AGQJTE is a synchronous step-down switching regulator with a configurable switching frequency from 200kHz to 2.5MHz. It integrates internal high-side (HS-FET) and low-side (LS-FET) MOSFETs to deliver high-efficiency output current (IOUT) from 20A to 25A, while featuring fixed-frequency and Zero Delay Pulse-Width Modulation (ZDPTM) control for excellent transient response.
The MPQ4385AGQJTE’s wide input voltage (VIN) range of 3.3V to 36V accommodates various buck applications in automotive environments. Its 1.5μA shutdown-mode quiescent current (IQ) allows the device to be used in battery-powered applications.
The MPQ4385AGQJTE reduces switching and gate-drive losses by lowering the switching frequency (fSW) under light-load conditions, achieving high power conversion efficiency across a wide load range.
The MPQ4385AGQJTE helps prevent inductor current (IL) runaway during start-up through its frequency foldback function, and provides reliable fault-tolerant operation with over-temperature shutdown protection. It also offers high duty cycle and low-dropout (LDO) mode to handle automotive cold-crank conditions.
The MPQ4385AGQJTE is available in a TQFN-32 (5x6mm) package, with a high-thermal-conductivity package option to facilitate top-cooling applications. It is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified.

The AP8000 universal programmer, independently developed by Acroview, has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The device supports flexible and configurable one-to-one and one-to-eight programming modes, and offers both online and offline operation. It features dedicated programming solutions for memory chips such as eMMC and UFS, and fully covers the bare-chip offline programming and on-board programming needs of MPS’s entire chip portfolio. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design with three core modules: mainframe, baseboard, and adapter sockets, delivering outstanding compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market, but also serves as the core component of Acroview’s automated batch programming system IPS5800S with stable and high-efficiency performance, efficiently handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet mass production requirements.

The AP8000 mainframe features flexible connectivity, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces for easy networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can conveniently achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the mainframe incorporates intelligent safety protection circuitry that monitors chip placement status and connection conditions in real time. Upon detecting abnormal conditions such as reverse insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, safeguarding both the chip and the programmer. The mainframe is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip to significantly enhance data transfer and processing efficiency, ensuring a smooth and efficient programming process. For enhanced convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the rear panel. Users can save project files generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then select, load, and execute programming operations via the physical buttons on the programmer, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependence on computer hardware but also simplifies workspace setup, greatly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter boards, effectively extending the mainframe’s functionality. The device currently supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, Kingston, and other well-known brands. Its supported device types cover NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, and more, and it is fully compatible with industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
