Acroview Technology, a leader in chip programming, has officially announced an expansion in the compatibility of its product lineup with the release of its latest programming software version. The company's core product, the universal programming platform AP8000, now achieves full compatibility with Richtek's programmable power management IC, the RT6758AFN.
The RT6758AFN is an I²C-interface programmable power management IC designed for OLED panel logic power supplies. This device integrates one synchronous boost converter with a pass transistor (for AVDD), three synchronous buck converters (for VCORE, VIO, and VDDI respectively), one inverting buck-boost converter supporting synchronous/asynchronous modes (for PRE-VGL), five positive operational amplifiers (for VGH1/2, VREFH/L, and VINT3), and four negative operational amplifiers (for VGL1/2 and VINT1/2). Its output channels are suitable for OLED panel logic power, and the device is offered in a WQFN-44L 5×6 (FC) package.
The RT6758AFN operates with an input voltage range of 2.7V to 4.8V. Its high switching frequency operation helps prevent switching noise from interfering with the Amplitude Modulation (AM) band. In addition to the high switching frequency, the chip also incorporates spread spectrum functionality. Furthermore, the RT6758AFN integrates multiple protection features, including Over-Current Protection (OCP), Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Under-Voltage Protection (UVP), Short-Circuit Protection (SCP), FB-Open Protection, and Panel Crack Detection (PCD), along with fault diagnosis capability. The recommended junction temperature range is -40°C to 125°C, and the ambient temperature range is -40°C to 105°C.

The AP8000 universal programmer, independently developed by Acroview Technology, has become a benchmark professional programming solution within the industry. This device supports flexible configurations, including 1-to-1 and 1-to-8 modes, and offers both online and offline operation modes. It features dedicated programming solutions developed specifically for memory chips like eMMC and UFS, comprehensively covering the offline programming of bare dies and on-board programming needs for Richtek's entire chip series. The AP8000 employs an innovative modular design comprising three core modules: a main unit, a base board, and an adapter board, granting the device excellent compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market but also serves as a core component of Acroview's automated mass production programming equipment, the IPS5800S, with its stable and efficient performance, effectively handling large-scale chip programming tasks to meet high-volume requirements.

The AP8000 main unit features flexible connectivity, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces for convenient networking of multiple programmers. Through the networking function, users can easily achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit incorporates an intelligent safety protection circuit that continuously monitors chip placement status and circuit connections. Upon detecting anomalies such as reverse insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, safeguarding the chip and programmer comprehensively. The main unit houses a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly enhancing data transmission and processing efficiency, ensuring a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance user convenience, an SD card slot is located on the back of the main unit. Users can simply save the project file generated on a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and use the programmer's physical buttons to select, load, and execute programming operations, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware specifications but also simplifies the setup of the working environment, significantly improving operational flexibility.
In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination design of base board and adapter board, effectively extending the functional boundaries of the main unit. Currently, this device supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, covering well-known brands such as SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, and Kingston. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, and EMMC, and is fully compatible with various industry-standard file formats like Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, all-scenario chip programming solution.
